Blade construction: Shinogi-zukuri, Iori-mune, Wide base, normal curveture, thicker KASANE thickness and middle Kissaki extended
Forging(Hada): Subdued Itame mixed with Mokume Hada, tight and strong covered in uniform Ji-nie on Hiraji surface.
Temper(Hamon): Straight Yakidashi where Ko-ashi and delicate Sunagashi works and then large Gunome becomes quiet clear. There is great deal of activity such as Sunagashi and Kin-suji mostly in the ravines of Gunome temper.
Tang(Nakago): UBU, Osuji-chigai file marks, UBU original peg hole signed Zen-hakushu Nobutaka Nyudo on front.
Temper of tip(Boshi): Covered in fine and much Nie with Hakikake, middle circle turn back
Early of Edo period, Keicho era, Shodai 1st smith Nobutaka moved to Kiyosu, Owari province and his later generations had served for Owari Tokgawa feudal domain untill end of Edo. This work is made by 2nd generation Nobutaka who is a son of 1st smith. Ample thickness, wide base and extended Kissaki, whole sword is entirely overflowing with an ambitious spirit and is decent as well. There are great deal of activity in Habuchi. Passed away September in Genroku 9th(1696)
Gold one layer Habaki collar and comes in Shira-Saya plain wood mounting.
