How to pay

 Telegraphic Bank Transfer
You will need to check with your bank to see what service charge they impose for International Funds transfers. Usually this is around US$15.00 - US$35.00. You will also be required to pay our incoming fee which is US$15.00, this will be included in the quote we give you prior to your funds transfer. Please check with your bank to see if they will use an intermediary bank for the funds transfer, some do and the intermediary banks also charges a fee, usually $12.00 - $18.00. This amount will need to be added to your total transfer.

 All prices are plus shipping and handling charge unless indicated by . Prices & specifications subject to change at any time.We will ship your order either by EMS speed post insurance applied, Courier service insurance applied, or SURFACE(NO insurance applied) SAL mail within 3 working days after verifying payment for the stock items. With your request of shipping method of SURFACE(NO insurance applied), your would assume the risk of loss or theft in transit. We are not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods.The choice is yours. INTERNATIONAL POSTAL SURFACE TAKE COUPLE OF MONTHS TO ARRIVE. INTERNATIONAL POSTAL INSURANCE CLAIMS TAKE MANY MONTHS TO PROCESS.
For swords & matchlocks, we apply an export licence to Japanese Government(Agency for Cultural Affairs) that usually take 2-3weeks before shipping out.
Catalogs will be shipped via SAL(surface mail) where you would assume the risk of loss or theft in transit.Any customs or duties would be your responsibility

Return Policy

 - Your satisfaction is very important to us. In the unlikely event that you have any Customer Service issues, we will devote all our energies to resolving it quickly and efficiently.
- If upon receipt of your order, you decide you do not want an item you ordered you may return it within 3 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling charges or a replacement. Please contact us prior to shipping for a return number:
We will advise the appropriate return address instantly. Your item must be packed in it's original mailing box including all documents and certificate. Returns must be shipped to us pre-paid with recorded delivery. In case of a refund we will credit your account as soon as possible within a maximum of 15 days. Please be aware that depending on your credit card company's policies, it may take one or two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
We don't accept returns of Books and Catalogs
Returned items must be received by us in original, as shipped, condition including the original box, accessories, copy of sales receipt. Contact Tokugawa-art for a return authorization number before returning an item. We strongly suggest you to return the article back fully insured.
After returned goods arrives, we shall process to refund your payment(Shipping/insurance charge, handling, money transfer charge and Re-registration fee/an export licence fee (JPY8,000 or equivalent) only for the Japanese sword and matchlock will be deducted)
We reserve our right to refuse return in case of :
1)Returned goods being damaged or lost(due to improper packing, differs from the original condition that was sent to you or goods are lost) We strongly suggest you to return the article back fully insured.
2)Returned goods being incomplete(missing part)
3)Return notice not done properly OR no return notification to us prior to return.
4)Return goods being unsealed or consumed already.
