The age of this Tanto was from the end of Edo or early Meiji-era, Long HIRAZUKURI Tanto with EZO koshirae made of brass and copper which is very daynamic and strong mounting. The Ji-surface is a bit scratched as seen from picture but is healty and fine maintained blade. The temper on both sides are equal in order. This Tanto comes with Shira-Saya plain wood mounting as well.
